How to Make Monogram Stickers

Monogram stickers are fun to create and will enable you to upgrade practically any item to a customized version.

You can print the monogram stickers on sticker paper or on regular paper and apply with paper glue. It depends on the surface on which you want to adhere the monogram sticker. On most surfaces you can get away with printing stickers on regular paper and applying with a simple glue stick or Mod Podge glue if you it.

How to make monogram stickers with regular paper

Equipment

  • Paper
  • Mod Podge glue and a paintbrush or a paper glue stick

Method:

  1. Create your custom monogram with our free monogram maker.
  2. Print on paper.
  3. Cut out the sticker.
  4. Turn the monogram upside down on a sheet of waxed paper or plastic. Paint the back or the monogram with glue.
  5. Place on any surface and press down the entire surface.

How to make monogram stickers with sticker paper

  • Scissors

Method:

  3. Cut out the sticker or use a cutting machine.
  4. Remove the paper backing before you use.

How to make monogram stickers with packing tape (good option if you need the sticker to be water resistant)

Equipment

  • Paper
  • Transparent packing tape

Method:

  2. Print on paper and cut out.
  3. Cut a piece of transparent clear packing tape large enough to cover the monogram.
  4. Adhere the tape to the monogram on the right side.
  5. Adhere the tape to the surface.
  6. Turn the monogram upside down on a sheet of waxed paper or plastic. Paint the back or the monogram with glue.
  7. Place on any surface and press down the entire surface
